The Redemptive Suffering of Jesus Christ,

Has the Holy Spirit of God revealed to you the horrific agony and the
crushing burden Jesus bore to redeem you? Has God revealed to you how
Jesus carried the awful weight of your sins and the heavy condemnation
of your guilt even unto His agonizing death on the cross? Do you
realize the awful price Jesus paid to purchase a redeeming bloodbath
for you at Calvary? Do you understand that if His sacrifice is applied
to you personally it will make you clean and pure as white as the
fresh fallen snow? “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be
as white as snow;" Isaiah 1:18. Have you comprehended how God’s wrath
for your sins was poured out in full measure with all of God’s fury
upon the sinless Lamb of God who died in your place? Have you found
repentance and the redeeming grace of God’s forgiveness? Do you
understand that as a conciliatory offering Jesus appeased the wrath of
God by His death? Eternal separation from God is the just recompense
for unrepentant sinners. Has the revelation of these spiritual
realities become clear in your mind? Has the message of the cross of
Christ cleansed your soul, gripped your heart and altered your life?
Have you grasped with your heart that the Sinless Lamb of God was
condemned to die so that you a guilty sinner could be acquitted to
live? I implore you to let God search your heart. Your eternal destiny
is at stake.
