believe that prayer is the highest calling and most solemn duty
of all Christians.
We believe that only prayer can secure God’s miraculous intervention
to reach the multiplied millions of lost Americans in this decadent
but desperate generation.
We believe that the national church humbly uniting in repentance
and prayer for America is the only but certain means of obtaining
God’s promise to heal our land contained in II Chronicles
7:14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves,
and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then
I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their
land.”
We believe we are at a perilous precipice of national calamity while
we stand at the threshold of the greatest spiritual awakening in
the history of the world.
We believe that in prayer or in prayerlessness the national church
will determine whether we will leave a revived or a ruined America
as an inheritance to our children.
We believe that only the national church united in prayer can purchase
the miraculous medicine of national repentance that will stop abortion’s
horrific hemorrhage and cure Lady Liberty from the curse of her
bleeding womb.
 We
believe that the national church united in prayer would fuel a great
spiritual awakening that would lead to a cultural restoration and
a political reformation.
We believe that church leaders have the urgent and crucial role
of declaring the clear and present danger while leading their congregations
into this national groundswell of repentance and prayer.
We believe the deep twisted roots of abortion sprouted out of hatred
for God and mankind in the bowels of hell itself.
We believe that hatred will never conquer hatred but hatred festering
in a heart will always conquer those who hate.
We believe that those who outrageously claim to be fighting for
life while they advocate the use of hatred, intimidation or violence
have embraced the very spirit that spawned abortion. Those who take
action inflamed by hatred have denied the very faith they disgracefully
allege they are fighting for.
We believe
that God’s call to repentance and prayer is imperative and
our positive response should be immediate.
We believe
that this call to prayer is inclusive of all Christians in every
denomination.
We believe that millions of American Christians will be mobilized
into prayer.
We believe that through the praying church God will heal our land
and the right to life will ultimately prevail over our vile culture
of death.
